The Cove

The Cove

There is no sign. There is no bar. There is no rush. Only sea, rock, and you, if you know how to find it.

It's one of those coves that don't appear on postcards but are cherished by locals as a little secret. Between Calpe and Benissa, hidden behind a stretch of the Ecológico Promenade, is La Caleta. It has no sign, no beach bar, no crowds, and that's why it's worth visiting. It's a rocky cove, one that doesn't get crowded, perfect for relaxing for a while, reading, swimming, or simply looking at the sea without interruptions.

Access is by foot via a trail that descends through Mediterranean vegetation, so the plan already starts well from the path. Once you arrive, you'll see pebbles, clear water, and a natural environment.

There are no services, so you need to come prepared with good footwear, some shade, water, and everything you need to spend some time without relying on anything else. The rocky seabed also makes it ideal for snorkeling if you bring goggles.

What makes it special

  • No sign, no services, no noise. An almost secret cove between Calpe and Benissa.

  • Perfect for those seeking true tranquility and bathing without crowds.
  • Rocky seabed, ideal for snorkeling if you bring goggles.
  • Small, undeveloped, with open views and no disturbances.
