Fossa Beach

Fossa Beach

The peaceful face of Peñón, with golden sand and a promenade to stroll without hurry.

North of the Peñón de Ifach and very close to Las Salinas, is Playa de la Fossa, also known as Levante Beach. It is an urban beach, but with something different. The view from here shows the less known side of the Peñón, where remnants of natural vegetation still remain almost up to the sand.

The beach is spacious, with golden sand and very calm waters, perfect for families, people seeking comfort, or simply those who prefer the sea without surprises.

What makes it different?

  •  A long and simple promenade (almost a kilometer), with restaurants, shops, ice cream parlors, and some pubs.
  • Adapted access points, showers, public toilets, and special summer services to facilitate bathing for people with reduced mobility.
  •  Blue Flag, for the water quality and the services it offers.
  • It is one of the most crowded beaches in summer, but it remains orderly. If you go early in the morning or late in the day, you can enjoy it more peacefully.
