Advocat Cove
Small, peaceful, and with a jetty that turns the sea into a pool. Ideal for spendling the day hassle-free, but with everything you need.
It is not the largest or the most well-known, and that is precisely why Cala de l’Advocat has its charm. Here you don’t come to look and run off, but to relax and enjoy your time.
It has a concrete pier that gives it a different feel compared to other coves in Benissa Costa. In addition to defining the landscape, it protects the water from the waves and creates a kind of natural pool with direct access to the sea thanks to its ladder. Ideal for the little ones to get in and out safely, and so that you don’t have to worry about anything.
The rest of the cove combines fine sand with rocks, and everything is surrounded by the Cliff of Cantalar, which extends towards the sea in the area known as Punta Fosca. A striking natural setting, but not overwhelming.
The waters here are calm and shallow, so snorkeling is almost a must. You can also practice light sailing or gentle surfing if the weather is good. And if you don’t feel like moving much, that’s perfectly fine too. It has parking, a beach bar, foot wash, and toilets. Just the essentials, without complications.
In summer, it’s usually less crowded than others, and that’s a gift.
