Holidays in Altea

A bohemian destination on the Costa Blanca to disconnect among white cottages, coves, cobbled streets, and vibrant cuisine.

The bohemian jewel of the Mediterranean

Altea is located between Calpe and Benidorm, but it moves at its own pace. It is a white village, yes, but with character. Whitewashed houses, cobbled streets, and an old town that leads to blue domes peeking between viewpoints. It has peaceful coves, made of stone with clear water, and also mountains, with trails offering views of the entire bay. The mild climate accompanies us throughout the year, and there is always something to see, hear, or taste in the streets. It is not just a place for photos; it is real, with Mediterranean life and an artistic soul. Those seeking rest or beauty find it here. But those who stay do so for the same reason: in Altea, the air is different.

A paradise between beaches and mountains

In Altea, everything is close by. The sea, with its promenade to stroll along with an ice cream in hand and boats in the harbor. The mountains, with panoramic routes. And best of all, an old town full of artisan shops, bay windows with bougainvillaea, and music playing from a corner. Here, people run ceramic workshops, continue cooking as they did before, leave their doors open to let in the breeze, and everything smells wonderful. There are parishes and churches that tell their stories and artists who have lived here all their lives... or who have just arrived and don’t want to leave. And there’s always a balcony to sit and dine leisurely, with good cuisine and even better views.
