Albir Beach
Although technically not part of Altea, Playa del Albir is so close that it would be a shame not to visit. It is large, open, made of stone, like many others here, and with enough space to find your own corner without feeling like you're sharing your towel with half the town.
On one side, Playa de Cap Blanc. On the other, the Serra Gelada. In between, a promenade with restaurants that overlook the sea and never tire. Some come for the views, others for the rice dishes, and some for both.
There is no port nearby; the closest one is almost five kilometers away, which is why the waters are clear, clean, and calm. No wonder it has the Blue Flag.
If you like snorkeling, you're in luck. Beneath the surface, you’ll find posidonia meadows and a seabed that’s unadorned but teeming with life.
