Cala dels Testos
Turquoise water, jagged rock, and that feeling of having arrived at a corner unlike any other.
Cala dels Testos is not for everyone. It is located in Benitachell, but you won’t see it from any road nor will you arrive there by chance. Access is only by foot, via a trail that ends in a small ravine. To descend, you’ll need to use ropes. Literally.
It is a small, secluded, wild cove with clear water and real silence. Once you are down there, you understand: there are no bars, no children running, no noise. Only rocks, sea, and an environment not made for crowds.
There are no services, no coverage, and no easy trails. But there is peace, raw beauty, and clean sea.
That said, if you decide to go, be prepared with good footwear, water, a light backpack, water shoes, and plenty of attention when descending. It’s not technical, but it requires agility and common sense.
