Cumbre del Sol
It's not just any peak, but one where you can look at the sea from above, descend to hidden coves, and not repeat the plan even if you stay for several days.
La Cumbre del Sol, in Benitachell, has more than one option. There are several. From here, you can choose between well-known beaches, secret coves, trails that end with a dip, or caves that seem from another planet.
Whatever you choose, you will always have views, tranquility, and the feeling that time moves differently here.
Where to start?
- Cala del Moraig
Cliffs hugging the water, wooden railings, and the Cova dels Arcs in the background. If you want a cove with character and easy to enjoy, start here.
- Cala Llebeig
U-shaped, crystal-clear water, and a trail connecting it to Moraig. Ideal if you like walking before taking a dip. Every corner seems made for photos.
- Cala de los Tiestos
Small, hidden, and discreet. Only suitable for those looking to disconnect completely or boost their adrenaline a little. It has a natural cave that surprises.
- Playa de Ambolo
Elongated, with rocks and fine pebbles. Has a viewpoint that justifies a stop even if you don't swim. Quiet and well-lit.
- Playa de la Granadella (a bit further away)
One of the most famous, but no less beautiful for that. Surrounded by nature, with water so clear that you don't need glasses to see the bottom.
