One of the main monuments in Teulada is the Ermita de la Font Santa, originating in the 19th century, which consists of a hermitage, the house of a hermit who once lived there, and a fountain called Font Santa. Legend has it that Saint Vincent Ferrer appeared to see his sister Constanza. While they were walking through Teulada, his sister began to feel thirsty, and the saint, after performing a miracle, managed to make water sprout exactly where the hermitage is located today. Therefore, both the building and the fountain were built in honor of said saint. Furthermore, water never stops flowing from the fountain.
One of the best ways to discover the small wonders of Teulada is to get lost in the different houses and narrow streets that form the old town. Among the different historical buildings you can visit while walking through the old town, you can find a wide variety of churches and chapels, such as the Casa Presor. One of the most outstanding is the Church of Santa Catalina Mártir, which was used as a stronghold against pirate attacks to shelter the people of Teulada. The church is surrounded by cobbled ground, giving it a more beautiful and interesting touch. The interior of this precious church leaves no one indifferent, and its facade has become one of the town's most famous attractions, as part of it features a long and narrow bell tower visible from anywhere in the area due to its height.
